They will be valueable assests to our growth and expansion into new markets.

You will manage the SMS Advertising; create, implement, operate, analyze, benchmark and tweak multiple campaigns for the different premium mobile phone services we offer, for an example Competitions, Social Network, Games, Adult, Promotions, Low cost communications, Reward Programs, etc.

Design SMS Advertising campaigns from scratch, copywriting, identify new opportunities, improve targeting and reduce acquisition cost.

Manage and optimize every step of SMS communications between the service and the customer. Increase customer satisfaction and reduce cancellations.

CRM together with our technical team you will design, structure and develop our customer database of mobile numbers, which you will market our services to.
Expand our customer database through third party data providers and through online marketing operations (data capture). Building new relationships with distributers for SMS advertising campaigns (SMS Gateways).

Work alongside our compliance manager to assure all SMS messages, data capture and storage comply with local industry regulations and data protection act.

Requirements

4. Outstanding track record of successful advertising campaigns that you created.
5. Your are FLUENT in both Spanish and English, spoken and written.
6. This position is in our Marbella office, no telecommuting.

I am not certain if you are aware, but just over 3 months ago Sean Martin of Cell C was involved in a very severe accident at his home, which left him and his daughter badly scarred for life and now finally the two are recovering.

I was fortunate enough to meet up with Sean soon after the accident over a business lunch, where he shared his horrific experience with me. It is for this reason I feel compelled and therefore appealing to you, for us all to try to assist Sean in some way knowing what he does for the industry as a whole and also for us personally as individual WASPs, in his role as CellC WASP Manager.

The combination of some static remaining on a home generator and the effect of petrol being poured into this device whilst refilling it, is what I understand to have possibly caused this accident – a day I am sure he would prefer to forget. On refilling the generator on the 21st July 2010, his daughter was ignited into flames close by and burst into flames. Sean anxiously hurried across in a sincere effort of fear and panic, to extinguish his now burning daughter, Katelyn. The result – both suffered some irreparable 2nd and 3rd degree burns.

Katelyn is now 2 years old (after recently celebrating her 2nd birthday on the 23rd Oct 2010), and has a long road before she enjoys the life of a normal child again. She has to wear a full face pressure mask, receive some much needed skin grafts still and go into the operating theatre once a week for steroid injections and various skin repairs.

Sean never said much about himself nor his injuries, all was about his daughter and that day. Disillusioned by the impact of all that had happened, he did mention though that they have maxed their medical aid and therefore sitting with bills and medical claims over R200K which were either not being paid or they were unable to settle, not including anything else that they require now as a result of the accident. Depressed as he is, they have also recently lost their home and now living with his in-laws while they re-adjust to life after the accident and the inherent financial losses.

Chantyl – his wife and mother to Katelyn, I am sure as well has been through a most traumatic few weeks. Sean reminds me of the depression and tears that comes each time they look at young Katelyn’s charred face.
